512 Disk Ripper

One of the best ways to rid your fields of compaction is with the 512 Disk Ripper. The standards on the 512 shatter compaction as deep as 16 inches, providing plant roots ample room for growth – one of the first steps toward higher yields.

Ripper standards are located between the disk gangs

The 512 Combination Ripper uses the disk-shank-disk configuration (DSD). In the DSD configuration, the ripper standards are located between the disk gangs instead of behind them (or DDS) as some competitors use.

With the shanks at the rear of the machine, the shanks can leave large ridges and valleys.

The two primary advantages of the DSD configuration are as follows:

  • Leaves a level soil profile that does not require an extra pass in the spring to straighten out the field before chemicals can be incorporated
  • Requires no add-on levelers to level out the soil profile
